KrispCall’s blog about purchasing a number and porting the number out sold me on their service. I was able to purchase a local U.S. number and successfully ported it out to a major U.S. mobile phone carrier. Everyone on the live support chat was great and extremely thorough. I definitely recommend them for this purpose.
I originally wrote a review that said something along the lines of “Possible scam and bad interface” but I think these guys are just the victim of a difficult interface. I was not only responded to kindly (after being a bit mean or standoffish) but also promptly. They refunded me all of my money and wiped the account for me. Great customer service. Stay away!!!I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company. First, they made me pay upfront for a phone number—no small fee, mind you—and only after I’d paid did they suddenly start demanding additional personal information. Nothing about this process felt transparent or trustworthy. They promised a simple, straightforward service, but the second they had my money, they turned the whole thing into a complicated, shady ordeal. I’m left feeling ripped off and frustrated. Save yourself the headache and find someone else. This place is nothing but a scam.
I really want to love this software but there’s still a lot of bugs they need to figure out.Sometimes the audio doesn’t work when a call is answered on the phone. Sometimes it doesn’t let you stay logged into both mobile and desktop at the same time. It constantly logs you out of the mobile app, then it doesn’t autofill the login with password manager and it always requires 2 factor authentication.There’s definitely a lot of great features and when it works, it’s an awesome software. Just needs some work.
